1. When a new song idea sparks, what usually comes to you first?*

I usually think of catchy melody, rhythm or instrument first

The first thing that comes to mind is a powerful story or words

For me, it’s the idea of the song that comes first but nothing concrete

It depends on the song, sometimes it’s lyrics, the melody or the background music

2. How often do you write songs?*

I’ve written a few songs before and am looking to put together an EP

I have some half-written songs and want to finally finish them

3. When you’re in the middle of your songwriting process, which part seems to come together the easier?*

The words or storyline seem to flow more easily

4. What has been stopping you from writing your next song?*

I don’t know how to even start writing a song, but I want to learn

I want to create an album and am stuck when it comes to writing songs that work together

5. What would becoming a better songwriter mean to you?*

I would share my story by performing my song at an open mic

I would grow my brand as an artist by connecting with others through social media

I would better express to my loved ones how much they mean to me by gifting them a song

I would leave my music legacy online for current and future generations
